AACR 2019 poster: PTC596 combination therapy for sarcoma

A summary of pre-clinical and clinical trial data, including mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics and tumor responses in investigations of PTC596, a novel molecule designed to reduce survival of cancer stem cells (CSCs) feature in our poster from the 2019 American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting, held in Atlanta 

  • Evidence for the activity of PTC596 in hyperphosphorylating BMI1 in a similar way to existing chemotherapies – paclitaxel and vincristine – to lower levels of CSCs is discussed
  • This poster includes an evaluation of PTC596 as monotherapy and in combination with standard tubulin-binding chemotherapy agents
  • Pharmacokinetic, safety, and efficacy results from a Phase 1a study of PTC596 in patients with solid tumors are presented
