This infographic, which supports the poster presented at SIMD 2026, describes interim results from the Phase 3 APHENITY Extension Study evaluating diet liberalization and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in sepiapterin-treated individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU) who were receiving sapropterin at study entry

  • Learn more about the potential for sepiapterin to support meaningful dietary liberalization while maintaining blood phenylalanine (Phe) control in individuals with PKU
  • Understand how baseline blood Phe levels may help predict the extent of dietary protein increases achieved during sepiapterin treatment
  • Review findings demonstrating improvements in PKU-specific and generic HRQoL measures, sustained responsiveness to treatment, favorable tolerability, and continued long-term benefit with sepiapterin therapy
