SSIEM 2026 poster: Mixing studies with sepiapterin to provide PKU patients with additional administration options

This poster, presented at SSIEM 2026, evaluates mixing and compatibility studies of sepiapterin to inform additional administration approaches for people with phenylketonuria (PKU)

  • Review data on mixing sepiapterin with selected foods and beverages
  • Assess the stability and recovery of sepiapterin after preparation and storage under different conditions
  • Understand how these findings may support additional administration flexibility for people with PKU and caregivers
▼ Sepiapterin is subject to additional monitoring. This will allow quick identification of new safety information. Healthcare professionals are asked to report any suspected adverse reactions via the national reporting system. Adverse events should also be reported to PTC Therapeutics at pharmacovigilance@ptcbio.com.
